We built cross-platform mobile companions using Flutter, connecting directly to the backend through a secure REST API architecture. Handling patient billing securely requires integrating payment gateways without exposing sensitive financial data to the core application server. We integrated Stripe using tokenized checkout flows, allowing patients to settle their co-pays and outstanding balances directly through their mobile app or patient portal.
